Whether you love him or hate him, or anything in between, just imagine how utterly glum the house would be without him. As bubbly as Corin is, there is no chance that she'd be able to keep the fun alive like Dave has done. He harps on about God being a fun God, and regardless of whether God exists or not (I'm not religious myself), fun definitely DOES manifest in Dave, and as a result it manifests throughout the entire house.

When Dave is present in a room, most of the time everybody is smiling or laughing and having a good old banter. Take Dave out of the equation and all we see is a ton if bitching and whinging.

I think that the Big Brother house would be a lot darker without Dave there. I really do.

Some may disagree, but we only have to observe the atmosphere around Dave to see that it holds truth. Dave's almost constant happiness rubs off on the others.

It is noticeable that he does it with male housemates. He does not attempt it with female housemates.
Well he wouldn't would he? Maybe it's a male bonding thing .........if he was doing it to the females it'd look like assault ............and I don't think his wife would like it either.

I'm not keen on seeing it but ......he doesn't appear to be offending anyone does he?

While I think a lot of Daves religion is deeply suspect and cobblers, I cant help liking the man.
He has found a way to tap into extreme happiness (which he says is gods love) without using mind altering substances.....like he used to.Now thats really something Im sure we'd all like.......but without the old scriptures bringing us down.

He is a good influence for the most part.
