Maybe she just wants to? Nothing wrong with it IMHO. I know a few people who refer to people they are in no way related to by blood as 'Mum' or 'Nan' - solely because they have been there for that person and that is how they see them.
Really? Fair enough but ..........I'd never do that and TBH - if my kids or grand children ever called anyone else Mum or Nan - I'd be gutted ...................Mums and Nans are special - IMO the term shouldn't be abused.

Saying that - I guess there are people who don't have special people in their lives and therefore bestow it as an honour. In the case of East Enders ..............I think it's poor script writing - they simply don't know who's who IMO.

agree with Sooz over the auntie/nanny tag - I would be very insulted too!!!

As for Don Gillet - saw him on the 5 o'clock show 2nite - and saw him with Paul O'Grady a few months back - what a lovely lovely man - he's playing the part well indeed - he looks SO different as Lucas - taller, leaner, meaner, but the bloke PLAYING Lucas is well.... Don.... a very very amiable chap

Even when Stacy and Bradley were 'loved up' they were never happy...why can't they show people being happy instead of just miserable and grumpy and troubled....
