I thought it was brilliant, really well acted and a great cast and script, I was suprised to find out loads of people at my workplace watched it as well. Does anyone know if there is going to to a 2nd series please?

I watched and thought is was brilliant. I've heard somewhere it was re-commissioned, but I couldn't swear to it. Hope so though.
It was very good but I missed the first 2 or 3. I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that there'll be a second series.
I watched it and agree it was brilliant! Sexy Idris Elba, made it essential viewing for me.

I thought it was brilliant. Not heard about a new series but I hope they do
I like the way they showed that the main character had real life issues to deal with, and the twist with the psycho girl (who is dead fit), and the crooked cop, I reckon they only did it in 6 parts to see how the public would recieve it.
Haven't seen it at all - but just wanted to say Hi Pooley - haven't seen you about for a bit
I loved this series - I think the ending left it wide open for the making of another series -"What now?". or something to that effect.
I thought it was great - hope they do another one.
I really loved it,gripping stuff, well written and acted.Idris Elba was fab.I was in the throes of a horrible flu, with a fever when I watched the one with the woman in the freezer, and the blood drinking murderer.I had really bad nightmares all night, delirious visions and full on cold sweat!Wish I'd watched it on i player when I got better!
Im sure they will do another it was great.

the psycho girl (who is dead fit)
Ruth Wilson has to be one of the best actresses of her generation and is mesmerising. I've seen much of her television work ever since she debuted in Jane Eyre (tv series). She also has appeared on the stage. I think she could well get to the top and be there for years. I can see her in many years to come as being a devastating Lady Macbeth.Luther was compelling drama - far better than that remake of The Prisoner which also had Ruth Wilson in. There could be a second series, but I don't think there should be many more episodes made unless the series takes a different direction, as it would soon become implausible.
Ruth Wilson was good also in the TV adaptation of Small Island, she played "Queenie".
Saw the first episode, thought it was badly-acted, poorly written, gratuitously violent cobblers and never bothered to watch more of it. The OH did, though.

The only thing about Ruth Wilson that puts me off are her lips - they quiver and move funnily when she speaks. I also get the same thing with that Willows woman off CSI LV
She is a good actress. I thought she was particularly good in the ITV series of The Prisoner

They don't put me off though, but one can't help but notice them. When I first saw her I thought she reminded me (in a nice way because it can seem a bit derogatory) of a duck. But then Michelle Pfeiffer has been known to herself as "Duck Face".Reference:

Surely some mistake! They are Ruth Arquette's Wilson's best feature. Hubba Hubba etc. It was a great series by the way.

So you weren't impressed then?

Nope - Idris Elba's a lovely bit of totty, but the programme was shite. And that woman who played the parent-killing psycho made me feel ill just to look at her.
It had it's moments - contrived ones and obvious outcomes, but on the whole I really enjoyed it.
I wanted a happy ending though

Bearing in mind the potential outcome, I thought it was a happy ending.
