Are they not having nomination tasks this week?
Pointless,as they have another "save youself " task.
Every time I ask some to explain odds to me I still never understand.
What's the order in fav to go as it stands from those results?

Yes spider.
There is a "Save and Replace" task tomorrow (details to be announced later today.)
I suppose the bookies are just trying to attract people to bet, even though it is not an accurate final list.

Shabby is favourite to go. Bookies have her odds on (which is very short.) Then their second choice to go is Dave - slightly better odds.Sunshine is the outsider of the three and the least likely to go (according to the bookmakers prices.)
These S&R tasks are beginning to get on my nerves now, hopefully next weeks eviction will have the normal process.

Ok but what does 8/15, 7/4 and 8 mean?
If i put a quid on shabby to go and she went, how much would I get back?
BB's only chance to save Shabby this week is to get her to win the task (again) and have her choose Mario again or Ben.

HELL NO!!! This is what BB needed for the last few years. Makes it more exciting and more of a game and stops block voting from the meanies.
53p, Rawky Roo.

Rawky thank you, I thought I was the only one who didn't 'get it'. They might as well put them up in chinese Reference:

Or edit Dave as Satan.
Evens (or 1/1) means you put on ÂĢ1 and get back ÂĢ1 if you win - plus your ÂĢ1 stake.
2/1 means you put on ÂĢ1 and get back ÂĢ2 if you win (plus your stake)
3/1
4/1
the longer the odds the more you win
100/1 - for ÂĢ1 you win ÂĢ100.
Again starting at evens (1/1) if the odds get shorter (which means the horse is very well fancied)
for instance 1/2 means if you put on 2 you only get 1 back.
1/5 means you put on 5 and only get 1 back.
(These shorter odds are known as "odds on", and the longer odds are known as "odds against"
The first figure is how much you win / the second figure is how much you put on.
(winnings/stake)
Gosh! It is hard to explain. I don't know if this helps or not. It gets complicated.

....i still don't get it
If Shabby is fave to go why is she at 8/15? Surely being 7/4 makes Dave fave (that rhymes) to go?
*goes and weeps under a bush for being thick*

The first number is how much you would win, if you bet the second number.
So ÂĢ8 for a ÂĢ15 bet on Scabby, ÂĢ7 for a ÂĢ4 bet on Dave, and ÂĢ8 for a ÂĢ1 bet on Sunshine.

*still weeping*
I kinda get that bit......
Basically, if the first number is smaller than the second number, it's more likely to happen, and therefore you win less money.
If the first number is bigger than the second, it's less likely to happen, so you win more.

I really hope Shabby does not win the replacement task.
They may do a 'How much eyeliner can you put on in 30 seconds?' task.

and in the case of Sunshine with just the one whole number?
** tuts because Blizzie made it sound simple while I made a meal of it**

For ÂĢ1 you could win ÂĢ8 (sometimes the bookies just drop the figure 1 - just to add to the confusion I think.) But 8/1 is the same as 8.Reference: brisket
Sorry Blizzie - but you may want to edit your previous post "If the first number is bigger smaller...."
Oops, thanks! I wasn't trying to confuse Rawky more, honest!
Rawky, one number on its own means 'X to one' e.g 8/1 for Sunshine, so ÂĢ8 back for a ÂĢ1 bet.

but all i really need to know is, with these current standings, my girl is safe yeah?

Yes.Except there is no such thing as a "certainty" and surprises and shocks can happen.
But the short answer is "yes" the bookies think Sunshine is definitely the safest of the three.
