'New research by psychologists at Birmingham University reveals a strong association between stupidity and displays of the England flag. Dr. Janet Strong said that 'the levels of ignorance are truly amazing. For example, many England supporters think that the St. of St. George stands for street. Their spelling of 'George' is something else, she added. Grog is the most usual spelling.' The new Education Minister Michael Gove is now considering proposals to use the flag to teach the alphabet.'
