Try milk, it's an alkaline and should neutralise the acid from the chillies.

You could also try washing your hands and rubbing your nose with Olive Oil - apparently the chilli washes off with the oil as it's a fat. 

Toothpaste works believe it or not - and also lemon or lime juice.
Try to sluice lots of cold water over your nose for a couple of minutes first to cool down the skin before you try either of those.
You could also try aloe vera if you have any

I really do sympathise, Isadora.

I have to rub capsicum cream on both my feet to treat neuromas (benign tumours on my nerves) and when they are ready for another treatment or in hot weather (like today), they burn like Princess Margaret when she stepped into a hot bath. They improve when I apply some more cream but I am considering giving them a milk footbath - I can pretend to be Cleopatra on a budget.

I was going to suggest Milk of Magensia, Pepto Bismol or that stuff with the firefighters in the advert, what's it called?, umm, gaviscon? As Mentalist said, it's an acid and they are all reasonable bases which should neutralise the acid (into water and a salt!)

Yes it is good but GPs don't seem to know much about it. I was put on it by a surgical podiatrist and now get prescriptions from my GP.
Ask your GP if you can try Capsaicin Cream. It's only available on prescription.
The info sheet says it is for moderate to severe arthritis but I looked on the T'Interweb and it says it is prescribed for nerve pain.

Can't be too careful with things that dangle - my mother told me that.

I discovered a new cure for chilli burns on the skin - ALCOHOL!!!
Don't need to drink it, you just keep dunking the affected area in cheap brandy.
Apparently, chilli desolves in alcohol and you then rinse it off.

I have some cheap cooking brandy in the cupboard - I will bury my nose in it next time it happens ( and believe me it will happen again..

I'm glad you are better - good job you don't pick your nose as you would have the clearest sinuses in the western hemisphere!

Don't forget to ask your GP about Capsaicin Cream.
