Hi. I was shocked by Caoimhe's description of Dave, while bitching in the snug (or is it smug?) with Shabby. She said, to quote the subtitles, "how the **** is that ******* weirdo monk still here?"

The anger and venom in her tone suggested she was being deadly serious. Now I admit I've not really taken to Caoimhe, and I concede that Dave is a bit... strange... but the side of Caoimhe that came out in that conversation was a side she's so far kept very well hidden.

I have been trying to think of a reason she would have singled him out specifically, knowing that she's been bitching about Mario and Ben all week too. My only conclusion is that earlier (not shown on highlights) Shabby had words with Caoimhe for hugging Dave shortly after his name was read out by Davina as being saved. Shabby was not pleased at all and let her feelings be known. So perhaps Caoimhe's spiteful words regarding Dave was to gain favour with Shabby, as much as anything else.

Thoughts?

Spidey I've seen that side of Keever, when she is bitching about Sunshine. Keever is a nasty piece of work, and I actually think it's KEEVER who is a terrible influence on Shabby. I also think Keever is just using Shabby to raise her profile, she knows Shabby is hot for her, and even though Keever has told Shabby she is in love with her boyfriend, she seems to be giving Shabby a lot of encouragement, leading Shabby to believe she's in with a chance....Keever and Noirin have more in common than the fact both of them are Irish.

Yes i agree - poor Dave! He is a lovely person and so is his Christian faith - perhaps if we lived by his beliefs and stuck to everything in the Bible the world would be a better place.

As much as i have supported Shabby this week i cannot support her rant against lovely, harmless Dave.

He thinks Homosexuality is against God's law, so he kisses and cuddles them and tells them he loves them, to try to cure them.

Dave is a Charlatan! I hate all his "Drunk on the Holy Spirit" Bullshine...I dislike his stance on Same sex relationships. But the one thing that tipped me over the edge was when he was preaching to Steve, and claimed he could heal Steve....At that point I wanted to "Fly kick" Dave, in his nuts.
