My ps3 is not reading discs.....anything i have downloaded is fine....HELP..

Lots of help on Google for this, my son,s one was doing the same. Unfortunatly it died (sorry) But very helpful tips, take time and look around x
I had similar problems in the past, came across this about it... I had another issue and rebooted the PS3, seemed to pay off.

Hope not lal. i got my son an Xbox and it died too, and today his contract phone has died and i didnt insure it this month! They dont make things like they used to , do they ? Good luck anyway x

Is it possible it could just need cleaned? Has happened with consoles we've had in the past. You can buy discs that do the job for the disc player or take it apart and completely clean the whole thing. Other than that - not sure, sorry. Hope you get it sorted though - not cheap to replace x

Thanks Karma have tried disc clean, but it won't read it .....I will take your advise and take it apart to clean it ....at least when I throw it away it will look broken...
