The public decides who goes, but the housemates do the nominating.  I can't remember if it was all females up for the chop in other series, but there were 3 to choose from last night.

Whilst it's true to say that the first person to be evicted from each series of Big Brother has been a woman, it's pushing it a bit to sugget that this is because of jealousy isn't it? Have a look at the list of thefirst housemates to have been evicted from each series;with the exception of Annouska and Stephanie, I think most people would struggle to agree that they were kicked out first because ofthe voting public's jellusy - they have hardly been a bunch of stunners!

I think you might find that the housemates are evicted because the voting public have disliked their personalities more than any of the other people who had been nominated that week.  Somehow I don't think Bonnie was evicted because the public were jellus of her!

I'd have liked Annouska to have stayed, I think there was a lot more to her.

I think the voters have learned over the years...is that once someone they don't warm to , but who is unlikely to be nommed by the House comes up for eviction, then take the opportunity to get them out. The others can wait, they'll be up again...remember Lisa last year?

I don't really care that much.  I'll put my hands up to having a bit too many drinks and a bit of trolling out of boredom in the early hours after England's pathetic performance.  I was surprised to see Racheal go because I don't think she really did anything that bad.  I think she was treated appallingly in her last few days by JJ when her only crime was being a bit shallow and knowing she's attractive.  Exactly like JJ.

Yup. The first "proper" eviction in BB5 was Vanessa's - and it didn't take place until the end of week 4!


BB's attitude towards this is very inconsitent. They often describe Kitten as the first evictee of her series, but they don't acknowledge, say, Dawn and Emily in the same way...

I quite fancied Sada,  shame she went first. Posh and vegan, she was never going to last!

Maybe, but they cancelled the eviction, from what I remember, and she was evicted/ejected for rule breaking, not by a public vote.
