On last nights high lights show i thought we got a snippet of the real Shabby, When she spoke calmly to John James about how he's treating Racheal and when she was talking on the same subject in the DR.

To me she spoke sense and came across as a decent person for those brief moments and didn't seem to be putting on a big act for once, it's a shame she acts like a moron the majority of the time as i feel she would be a decent HM if she was 'true to herself' and just stopping doing what she thinks people want to see/hear.

Given the length of time she went on, and on, and on during  LF about the noms/Ben incident the other day... I tend to think that THAT was the real Shabby (spoilt, petulant, nasty, down-right irrational), not the 5 minutes of edited HL's we saw yesterday. I really hope she goes tonight, but can't help think that the editing has saved her, as it has so many of them in the past.

The "wild girl" image is (to a large extent) an act, but it's a long-standing one. She's really quite posh, and as Keylee (Keeley) Jade Flanders, had a reasonable career as a child actress. According to her friends, the squat, the name-change and other "weirdness" was a conscious attempt to stand-out once the acting roles started to dry-up.

For me, the "real" Shabby is the one we saw at the dinner table on HLs yesterday talking about how she needs to get to LA (i.e. Hollywood) and how she will do anything to achieve that...
