I thought his evaluation of Shabby, Caoimhe and Ife was bang on the money actually.  They are USING Rachael to continue their reign of bitter attacks on the male housemates one by one.  First Dave, then Ben, now JJ.  Shabby didn't give a crap about Rachael before today, now she's suddenly her best friend.  As Steve said while nominating Shabby, she's fake!!

I disagree, apart from the bit about the silly legs, they are silly (unless you are employed as a drag queen-they are perfect for that career!)

I'm not much concerned about the legs and shorts (although they are OK), but I didn't read it as giggling kids behind the bikesheds.
I thought it was a fair and amusing reading of the situation. I'm still liking Ben.

Perhaps Ben - as well as being a good analyst of the situation - also tries to maintin a spot of humour and lightness. I like his flambouyant phrases.
Maybe housemates, most of the time realise they are playing a game of elimination and competition, and it is the viewers who take it too seriously.

As a viewer, trying hard to support Rachael, she makes it difficult for me to trust her.  The main reason I am trying to like her is because of her friendship with Ben, it makes me think there must be good in her.
