At 4.15 a.m. he is in The Nest.

Then he had a chat with Josie.
He said he felt bad about his audition saying that he was "bi", and he would now have to face his friends.
(So he has lied to his friends eh?)
My theory - and forgive me if this sounds wild.
But I think what really bothers him is that he may have to face his friends with the fact that he is gay. He hadn't thought this through when he entered the house.
He perhaps ventured the word bi (he'd had sex with "half a man") to ease the process, but the consequences of that now hit him.
He seems to me like a youth who has struggled with the whole gay business, lied and deceived in order to maintain his place and status in his groups and circles.
I think what is disturbing him so much now is a sort of "enforced coming-out process".
And this is brought on by the fact that he fears he may be up for eviction and have to face the real world again.
"Campness" does not mean "gay" of course. But sometimes they go together.
And the obvious campness displayed by Govan in almost everything he does, makes one wonder.
I think he is upset because he is facing a tricky lifestyle decision of his own, brought on by the possibility of eviction (plus some guilt about his own questionable behaviour in the house.)
The possibility of being gay and showing unpleasant behaviour? Honesty is a better policy.
Plus the obvious point that he has shown himself to be devious and untrustworthy and mean-spirited and bitchy and.......
