It's a stupid idea from Lucy Allan like turning Zak racist due to Des' influence when he was a nice teacher before. Some of these characters had potential but because they've been axed they know that the viewers won't care once they are gone.

As for Loretta they did have a child killer storyline planned for her but dropped it due to a complaint from James Bulger mother and understandably would have been distressing for her to watch even though the storyline itself was different.

Yes, I thought the same about Des too!

I'm looking forward to Lee Hunter's  return and don't know if this is true yet but I do think Theresa will be exposed as Calvin's killer in HO Later.


New producers episodes will air on 5th July with the new characters coming in, the show has been dire under Lucy Allan.. been better recently with the aftermath of who shot Calvin due to the McQueens and it's improving.

there's a serious lack of consistency in the characters in Hollyoaks!

Still...  Loretta brings the added entertainment value of at least one person in my family slipping into Family Guy's Cleveland and saying "Loreeettta "

and it didn't make me cross...  well woman's hour pushed me a bit at times... but nothing on the scale of Bill & Sian!
