I saw a news item about this and the man who designed it on tv yesterday, such a creative idea. I really admire creative people, some modern art stuff though that some go wow over leaves me cold and baffled

Now .........does anyone have any good ideas for me? This weekend our church has a flower festival and all local shops and businesses put up a display. This year the theme is 'Famous Britons' .......................I'm quite liking the idea of a wellington boot full of flowers 'The Duke of Wellington' However ...........we are the local chippy and try to keep a 'fishy' angle.

 Anyone got some suggestions?

Soozy mayn't know who Ben Dover is and I wouldn't start trying to find out unless she has a remarkably broadminded church congregation.

I love ships in a bottle and I would love to be able to go to London to see this one.

My grandfather left home at the age of 15 and ran away to sea. He was one of the very last people to sail in one of the old tea clippers - I don't know if this was the Cutty Sark because that was the last to be used.

I remember as a child a model of the Cutty Sark or another tea clipper that he had made and put in a bottle.

Ships in a bottle have always fascinated me - as a child, I could never understand how they got the ship in there.
