Carnelian,
this is the link to the Wag quiz for those who want to do itTo create a link, when you are on the Daily Mirror page or whatever page you want, copy all of the address near the top of the browser screen (it will probably start with http) .You do this by clicking on the address, making sure that the whole address is now in blue, and press Ctrl-C.
Now come to this site and go to the Post Reply screen and create your text. You don't need to type out the link address, but type something which is going to be obvious to people that this is the link. You can see what I have done above as an example. Now with your mouse, select the text you want to be the link. This text will now be in blue. If you look at the icons above, you will see that the 13th one (the one which looks like a couple of links in a chain) is now usable. This is the insert/edit link icon. Click on this icon and you go to the Insert/edit link screen. The first line Link URL is the important one. Click in the box to the right of it and press Ctrl-V. This copies the site address into that box. The other lines are optional. The target line can be set to open the link in another page - if not set then clicking the link will close this forum page and replace it with the linked page. The title line is a bit misleading as typing in this will have no effect on the appearance of your post. What it does is that if a use hovers over the link in your post, a little box appears showing the text you entered here. Just for illustration I have added Daily Mirror Wag quiz to my link. Once done, click on the Insert box. You will now see that your text for the link has become underlined and is now in green text (on the main forum screen it will show in blue). You can edit the link if you wish.
The 14th one which looks like a link being torn in half is the unlink icon if you want to get rid of a link.Just position your pointer to anywhere in the text for the link, click this icon, and the link goes.
I haven't completed this quiz because I'm male so that would be a bit odd.
