Labour MP Eric Illsley has been charged with three offences of false accounting over his parliamentary expenses. He is accused of dishonestly claiming ÂĢ20,000 in council tax and other bills on his second home in London. This brings the number of Labour MPs charged with theft to 4.
I guess this expenses scandle will not be going away anytime soon.

bet it is not just Labour MP's who have done this! the system under which this expencess claim originated was by Thather, she created it becuase pay rise's were so un popular with the electorate, so very sly and dishonest of her and her goverment I feel. load of money grabbing tossers. of course the new lot, Thatchers children, will be beyond reproach i am sure..lol!
I'm still waiting for Andrew Mackay and Julie Kirkbride to be charged. Why haven't they been?

She has a lot to answer for greedy woman
She was horrid in power Marge...simply horrid. I remember Geoffrey Howe's resignation speech in the Commons (that set off the chain to her demise) and thinking that quiet, kindly man knows the score. My dad cheered after the news, and explained a little more about her Tyranny.
Hi suzy yes I agree and she created a greedy selfish society..all those yuppies
Entirely greedy Marge . It was only later when I had to study the economic policiy she adopted (Monetarism) that I understood the scale of how human beings can get rich on the suffering of others legitimately and without any moral responsibility or regulation. All those MPs on the fiddle had obviously justified their actions in much the same way.

At the time that the first 3 labour MPs were charged, so was a tory peer Lord Hanningfield. He had stepped down from the front bench in the House of Lords as a result.Add Reply
