So yesterday was the wedding of my good friends Carl and Chantelle, I have just recently recovered and will explain how the day went:
So I went with the blue shirt and gold tie (sorry to all the tie haters) and met up with the Groom and Groomsmen at his house. We took a rather long, scary and vomit inducing minibus ride to the venue and once we arrived the Groom burst into tears (something about being 'overwhelmed'). I was crying too, but that was because I was so thankful that the minibus ride was over.
Onto the ceremony and the bride looked stunning, vows were read, promises were made and the Groom cried again. Straight outside for the photos where we realised how bloody cold it was and then went for dinner.
Dinner was great, the father of the brides speech went on too long and once again the groom cried.
Next it was party time! It took a couple of bevvies for me to hit the dance floor, but as soon as i was suitably intoxicated I hit so hard I was on fire. All the dodgy classics were being played, was really getting into my swing when 'Do you love me' was being played but to my dismay it was a remix version. There I was; all ready to do the 'mash potato' and it changed on me...not impressed . However the DJ redeemed himself by playing Billy Idol's 'Rebel Yell'
All in all a very good night but unfortunately I didn't get laid .......hmmm might have been the tie after all.
Oh and for your enjoyment, he's a pic of me doing some 'angry dancing', its the new craze....honestly
