I hate this myth regarding benefit scroungers and their love for the labour party............My auntie who was made redundant in January and who is due to retire in June has been claiming JSA which she is allowed to for 6 months, she went to sign on last week and because they said she hadnt been looking for enough jobs (she works 10 hours a week),her benefit was stopped (I kid you not) she has worked all her life and now that her retirement looms she is quite happy working her little 10 hours per week job. She told to the guy at the job centre they can keep their JSA she wont be signing on again, she will just wait now to draw her pension In June.


I really dont know were the notion that Labour are not tough on benefit claimants comes from because it is simply not true
