Yes, we are having lots of blossom, I think it's because of the long winter leading to a late spring, which has given the trees a longer time than in recent years to hibernate and so are stronger.

I don't think we'll have snow in June, but around 15 years ago I was working in Cheltenham in June when there was a terrific hail storm, and the gardens near the town hall were completely white. But being June, the ice had melted within half an hour.

i went to the cotswolds today-bloody lovely-loads of that blossom stuff and nice trees etc..
im not very poetic when it comes to explainations of springtime am i?
but it looked nice anyway
oh yeah and we saw a red kite bird/hawk or something like that-so the in-laws said..they said they were a rare thing to see
mind you the ma-in-law had a few at this point

we had a really mad hailstorm here (essex) about 15 or so years ago... they hailstones were huge... some the size of golf balls.   My Dad & loads of the neighbours had to fight the insurance companies to pay out on getting the bodywork of the cars sorted out from the dents the hail had made!

 That's more or less what they said on Radio4 this morning, and that the winter had been particularly wet.
Loving all of the magnolia that is out now, doesn't last long, but it is sooooo beautiful
