I was asked me to post this here.... if you do have a facebook account then login now and change your passwords and change your passwords anywhere else you happen to use the same username / password combo (you know you should never do that?). "A hacker named Kirllos has a rare deal for anyone who wants to spam, steal or scam on Facebook: an unprecedented number of user accounts offered at rock-bottom prices. Researchers at VeriSign's iDefense group recently spotted Kirllos selling Facebook user names and passwords in an underground hacker forum, but what really caught their attention was the volume of credentials he had for sale: 1.5 million accounts." thats about 1 in every 300 account this guy is selling user details to and thats just one guy out of many facebook hackers. link to the full story.

stonks, I suggest you send a PM to one of the moderators, Lori or Rosemary, asking them to flag this thread as a shortcut topic. This way, major announcements such as this will get shown near the top of all forums top pages and won't get lost with other topics. That is what I did for my Firefox thread. Only the moderators can set the shortcut topic flag.

I'm sorry but I just don't believe this for a second.

Suppose the good thing about this is that if you desperately want to say something to someone like ask someone out or something but are worried incase they say no, you can just ask them, then if they say no just say you dunno what happened, must have been that facebook hacker

Scaremongering at its best. I'll take my chance, thanks. If it backfires then it backfires (but it won't)
