Just to switch away from pink dragons for a moment. Apparently well before St George and the dragon, the Celtic flag of the British was the red dragon (as in the Welsh flag). When the Anglo-Saxons invaded, their flag which became the then English flag was the white dragon.
         

And I have a copy of Anne McCaffrey's White Dragon, autographed by her when it was first published.

I have waited & waited & waited for them to sort out doing the Pern Movie....  years ago it had been rumoured that that bloke from the x files would play F'lar (which would work)... but they never seem to get it sorted out!  

(I love the Crystal Singer Series, all the Talent ones, The Ship who sang,.. in fact I love most of her books... the only ones I couldn't get into were some of the collaborations she did)
