No nothing smutty, B & B owners stay in each other's place and pay what they think it is worth, looks interesting.

but, but ... it's Waterloo Road on BBC1
There's always C4+1
Good plan
I have recorded it. Squiggle... and will watch it once Mr B finishes watching Jaimie.... so will comment later I wondered if there would be a thread, cos I thought it looked good.
What a snooty couple of BB owners .... and NO WAY would I ever pay ÂĢ350 per night for a B& B. ....... no matter how many gadgets the room had....
I like the country cottage... and the owners..... Much nicer than the other two couples..
The southern B&B owners seemed incredibly bitter. The wife appeared to be completely exhausted from over working and single handedly running the business by her self. Her husband was a useless grumpy old git with an apparent alcohol dependancy problem.
I thought just the opposite Spider... I thought the Skegness couple were awful......

Can't believe that couple won...
I can. The Blackpool B&B was arguably a Hotel. The Dorset B&B was dingy and unclean.Reference:

They weren't my kind of people. However, they worked as a team, had pride in their business, and it showed by the quality and cleanliness of their B&B which was reasonably priced. ÂĢ50 a night.
Skegness is a great place for kids and local too me so we go most years for a day out the seal attraction is one of the most places to see, so why she had never been there is shocking the blackpool place was very nice but the normal people that go there is hen/stag parties and they would never pay that
B + Bs are a place to put you head down to me, not a place to watch TV and play Playstations, you want a clean bed and bathroom and a good brekkie

Whoever doesn't have the smell of kippers waffting into the dining room wins for me.

You are probably right Spider.. but I couldn't get past the owners.......Reference:

Oh so did I baz, and that woman from Skeggie, she was like the SAS searching for cobwebs.
I thought the couple from Skegness were reasonable prices and friendly the couple who were charging a fortune were more of a hotel rather than a BB,the couple in the country BB was not very good and her husband was a horrible snob made it clear he did not like Northerners...

Have to agree on that Marguerita, I felt a bit sorry for the wife, she seemed nice, I wouldn't like to be married to him.
Perhaps I should make myself a bit clearer.... I agree that the Skegness couple were probably the best value for money... I just didn't like them as a couple.
John Crace (the tv critic in today's Guardian) says:
"I'd rather stay in a freezing cold shed in the Hebrides with no food, no running water and no chance of rescue than spend one night in any of the B&Bs featured in Three in a Bed. The problem isn't the B&Bs; it's the couples who run them. That said, even they weren't as poisonous as the show itself. Channel 4 should be ashamed of this latest offering (from the makers of Wife Swap). I felt grubby watching it; God only knows what the B&B owners themselves are thinking this morning when they see how the programme was cut together.
In practice, however, this was just an excuse for class warfare, and an opportunity to show everyone at their most snide."
(I didn't watch it myself.)

I think John Crace must have been reading my mind while watching it.....
I wouldn't want to stay in any of 'em meself. Was that Blackpool one over-accessorised or what, I think the command console of the Starship Enterprise had less gadgetry
