Nick already said in the event of a hung parlament he would side with which ever had the outright majority of votes
Personally I've not heard him say that but haven't heard everything they've all been saying. I heard him the other day talking about it and he mentioned it would be with which party he thought had policies similar to his or ones that he could work with, but who knows

Nick Clegg impressed me the most but did not like when he said he would scrap our nuclear deterrant and not sure his figures would add up,David Cameron kept evading the two questions put to him by Gordon Brown dont trust him or the tories, Gordon Brown had more substance in what he was saying imo and that is who I will be voting for

A nuclear deterrent is the phrase used to refer to a country's nuclear weapons arsenal, when considered in the context of deterrence theory.

Deterrence theory holds that nuclear weapons are intended to deter other states from attacking with their nuclear weapons, through the promise of retaliation and mutually assured destruction (MAD). It can also be assigned as a response to an attack by conventional forces; for example, the doctrine of massive retaliation threatened to launch US nuclear weapons in response to Soviet attacks.

In order for a nuclear deterrent to be successful, a country must preserve its second-strike capability. A nuclear deterrent is sometimes composed of a nuclear triad, as in the case of the nuclear weapons owned by the United States. Other countries, such as the United Kingdom, have only sea-based nuclear weapons.

So the USA would never attack us whilst we have Trident?

Well firstly the USA would never attack us so that was an unusual example.  The USA and UK have been close allies for the past 70+ years.  The US military continues to have a permanent presence on UK soil in the form of Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Fylingdale and Fairford air bases so they'd probably want to clear all their personnel out of these areas before dropping any nukes.

One thing mentioned in the debate was heraditary peers - sorry I think I got the spelling wrong on that.  These should be stopped asap. After all why should Mark Thatcher be a Sir simply because of his mother.
I don't believe Mark will inherit any title from his mother. Margret Thatcher was given a Life Peerage as a Baroness - it's not hereditary. Mark did inherit the Baronetcy of Scotney from his father, Dennis, but although that allows him to style himself "Sir" it doesn't entitle him to a place in the House of Lords like his mother.
