No, it`s not staged. I just watched them on a news programme saying it almost ruined their day but they can laugh about it now. They`ve forgiven the best man although her Mum hasn`t.  It took the husband a year to put it on youtube because his wife was against it but eventually gave in.

I'm normally the worst person for laughing at people when they fall over (it's just naturally funny )..... but this just made me gasp in horror!

I still think it's real, it would take more than one take to get it absolutely perfect,never mind drying the costumes, which would take days, costing tens of thousands in extras fees and costume hire alon. Then you have the main actors, the sound guys, lighting, director producers fees etc etc..nope to costly to make for some 40 minute wedding dvd.

I don`t know but why not if they are? It`s been a major youtube hit and they`ve been invited, much to their surprise, to talk about it on various American channels. Good for them if they can make a buck after that disaster of a wedding day, I say.

Apparently the guys name is Josh Covitt and he's a actor/comedienne, looks like it was a hoax, it's a bloody good one because that trip on the platform was perfect

The actors that have spoofed it since the original? Yes, they`re obviously acting.  I disagree that it was staged and so do they but hey ho Saz..I`m glad it made you laugh
