I'll be on here as well as ds when bb is on, but sadly I think both forums have died a death(as far as bb is concerned)
I would jump through hoops to go back to the atmosphere and intensity of channel 4 bb.

Like everyone else, I found the midnight closure frustrating, but no matter how inconsistent the C4 mods were with their decisions, I don't think they were left with any choice but to close overnight if they were not prepared to pay for 24 hour moderation.  I think almost every forum attracts the odd troll, but there were so many really over the top occasions where trolls filled the front page of the forum with the most vile posts. Having seen the work of Barney Bear about Madeleine McCann and the attacks on Sassy, to name a few, they couldn't let that continue, especially on a large public forum. 

It beggars belief that people stayed up in the hope of the trolls coming out to play. I always posted through the day right up until the main show started. I was thankful of the midnight closing time.Some real nasty stuff and right wing nazis seemed to appear after midnight during bb3 onwards.

You got the best bb discussions through the day anyway, so it was off no great loss to me.

I don't think it's likely that anyone sat up waiting for the trolls to appear, but there were a lot of people who posted late at night, and were online when a lot of the nastiness took place.  Also, because the mods didn't start work until 10 am, when there had been a particularly nasty night's trolling, the posts were there for everyone to see for hours the next morning.

They won't do it. They closed ALL of them, remember, not just BB.
Lack of money, or something. Explains why last summer's house looked like it was made out of kitchen roll tubes and sticky-back plastic.

I used to love a quick catch up at 7am before I went off to work and it went all busy and manic but I couldn't post on them after they closed them at nights

Out of interest - I've just googled "BB forum" and this place doesn't come up - not on the first page anyway

 Perhaps the folks at Gaga can arrange to have us bumped up the  lists a bit......

They need to add some meta tags to their forum code so google can identify this as big brother related.

The old forum was fun at the time but got soooo nasty when BB was on some of the remarks about Mikey were unbelievable and then people were hoping other housemates got nearly beaten to death when they got out made me think that some people were taking it a little bit too seriously

LOL... I agree Shizzle.. it did used to get a bit OTT at times.

I would never go back there,it would be like a kick in the teeth to the lovely people who took the time n trouble to open this forum for us.Cant understand why anyone would give c4 the time of day

I agree that i miss the buzz from the old C4 forum but it think that this place only feels slightly stale because so many of the old gang have left i think we should concertrate on either getting new members or encouraging the old ones to come back. Any ideas anyone?

I don't think the people who used to post on C4 can find us Kells - if you google Big Brother we don't come up in the rankings at all

What about all the peeps who joined with us but decided to leave. I know alot of them are still on fb. Could they not be persuaded to come back

If they want to come back they will ... if not, you will have to go to FB to talk to them

If any of the members who have left still have GagaJoy on their bookmarks then they would be automatically directed here unless they have removed the link.. they should put this place on Google though.

Not that they will but even if Ch.4 restored their Forum I wouldn't go back there, it was rubbish for so many reasons. I can understand people missing people or certain threads which made them laugh but as a Forum the whole setup there was pathetic compared to how other Forums are administered, and the facilities they have for posters.
