Chicken, I've just sent you a PM.
I have to go out now, but I'll check back in later on.
Chicken my eldest did 6 months at uni before he decided he wanted to leave, get a job and start earning money. I told him what I have always told him. "Do what you feel is right for you, nobody else can live your life" Life is way too short to be unhappy. You could be depressed a trip to your doctor may help.
Chicken if you are not enjoying uni then don't worry about disappointing anyone, talk to a tutor they can guide you on whether a different course may be more suitable and if not they will help you with the process of leaving. By continuing with something that makes you unhappy you will only disappoint yourself in the long run. I hope you feel better soon my lovely. Uni isnt for everyone it can be a very difficult place to be.
Chicken
If you decide this uni course isn't for you, it won't mean you're a failure or a bad person. But I'd echo what others have said - make sure it's really want you want, before you pack it in, and make sure you have an alternative in place.
Talk to your student counsellor and maybe even your GP, if you think you're getting unreasonably depressed. They're there to help.
