Agreed, I love him!

Is it true what someone else said here recently, that the bloke who plays Paddy is leaving? And that it's because the scriptwriters wanted Paddy and Mimi to get back together - but he can't stomach kissing Tina Malone or doing secs scenes with her?

Paddy is leaving Deman, but I'm not sure it's for the reason being quoted.


I thought last night's episode was best of the series so far.


The YNWA singing  while Micky was dragging the boxing coach out of the fire was brilliant.

I can`t watch it. I`ve tried but Frank Gallagher makes me feel sick

Paddy is leaving,  I think chesney will kill him in the last episode I doubt it's because of mimi, but fair enough if it is.

Yes mrs doyle grinding on franks knee last night had me doubled up laughing.

The continuity between episodes has been brilliant this time round, I was amazed to see it running for about 26 episodes, and will be gutted when it's finished, but well, gtraditionally thats when bb starts on e4.

I've watched it from the start, Frank is still my least favourite character.

I don't watch it much these days. They seem to be stuck for ideas. I think it is past its best.
But I agree very much about Ciaran Griffiths. He has been the one thing worth watching for some time. I think he provides a splendid performance. He is versatile and talented but he is able to display his mental torment and thoughts on his face in such a believable way.
He is a clever actor, with a great feel for comedy.

I understand, he`s horrible. Smelly, sweaty, greasy, smokey, fingernails to puke for and he cannae act  

I really like Mickey he's so funny, loyal and kind. Ciaran is a good actor, bet he's glad he left The Bill now.


Karen, Maxine and Kelly are fab.

He's quite posh in real life...

I DISAGREE. in a non shouty way.

26 episodes with numerous storylines and numerous comedy classic situations tells me otherwise.They even had time to do a tribute episode..can anyone guess which 80's drama series it was to!

Totally agree - Ciaran Griffiths is hilarious and a great character  Shame about Paddy leaving - there's just something about him

Loved the final episode last night, didn't know what way it would go with Karen & Joe, 
also the suprise delivery by Mimi. 


Roll on the next series. The show seems to get better and better.

I really enjoyed it last night and agree mickey is a great character, as for mimi at the end..... maybe its cos im pregnant myself, but i spotted that one a few weeks ago 

Series 7 was the first time i had actually watched the show and loved it right away and in the last 3 weeks i have been watching series 1 to 6 on youtube and now it is one of my programmes


The only downside to the show is that it has lost a lot of brilliant characters, especially Sheila, the only characters i didnt like was Monica and was glad when she finally left and Marty's girlfriend Sue
