We plan to drop my parents off in Wales and then set off on a lil adventure around the South of England.
Other than Stone henge and The Devil's Punch Bowl - do you know of any sites you wud recommend i should visit along the way heading towards London?

You could pop in and have a look at Castle Drogo which is to the West of Exeter. Have a look at this National Trust page for further info. I'm glad to see that the restaurant has improved - when I went there some years ago, the restaurant service was closer to Fawlty Towers than anywhere else I've been to.

And if you do go, have a very careful look for the best road sign I've ever seen. If its still there, it's in the little village Drewsteignton which you go through just before you get to the castle.

If you want a little gem of a village, they don't come much prettier than places like Burley and Minstead. Even the bus shelters in the New Forest have thatched rooves. But if you go, watch out for the donkeys in Burley - they are really fierce and vicious.
