They want me to phone them on a mobile number having been unable to contact me!

Yeah... right!

I've been getting money out fine and writing cheques so I can only assume they want to sell me some product of theirs or other...

But the hilarious thing is, on the back of the letter is printed

"This page is blank intentionally" !!!

Well it isn't now, you plonkers!

No... the letter looks completely kosher but I think the reason they want me to call is that some slimy sales geezer reckons I've got funds to spare or need a new credit card or summat... and because he's on the road ripping off some other sucker I will spend money on a mobile number.

We got a letter from our business bank, it was a customer survey, the letter stated all replies were anonymous for data only. Our bank manager phoned me up to tell me we hadn't completed the survey, I asked him how he knew we hadn't. Anonymous my lower back.

A momth ago I got a letter and phone call from my credit card company asking me to ring them. I did and discovered that someone had got hold of my credit card details and was trying to use them. Luckily the credit card company had picked it up immediately so I lost nothing. But of course my card had been put on hold and until the replacement arrived I was having to pay either in cash or by debit card.

So you can't assume that this is just a marketing ploy.

But when I rang the credit card company I rang head office first to ensure that this was a genuine call.
