Anyone else suffer with this most irritating of conditions? For the past WEEK I have had the worst case of Hay Fever in my life. I daren't lead forward for fear of my nose turning into a tap, and my eyes are constantly streaming. Grrrrr, even stupid piriton pills only have a limited affect on it.

Tree pollen does it for me. I use a lot of China Oel at this time of year. No symptoms yet though TBF everything is late and it's foggy and moist.
Piriton is rubbish. Go to your doctor and ask for a prescription of Zirtek, Beconase/Flixonase and some eye drops. Honestly, I've suffered really badly all my life with hayfever but this combination really works wonders.
Thank you Queen of the High Teas. You're right about piriton being rubbish.

It does it for Mr and Miss kaytee as well, where do I get your remedy from Joe please?
China Oel is peppermint oil. I put it in the end of my nose, it keeps the airwaves open, acts, homeopathy like, on the eyes and I think catches a bit of pollen. Temporary relief only, never found anything that really works but it stops head aches. I get it from The Fatherland. They call it China Oel, Japanisischer Oel and a few other things. Those advertised health shops sell Peppermint Oil, but I'm not sure if it's the same purity.
Thanks Joe.....I'll do a bit of Googling for some.....it may do the trick without resorting to meds
