It still is the first series, technically.     They showed the first part then stopped for some reason known only to the US scriptwriters (I think it was their fault - I'm blaming them anyway) and resumed this week.  Did you see the catch up on Sunday - it brought you right up to date.   I think it may only be a one season thing actually.

I've still got last night's second episode to watch - that's tonight's treat.

All the big American "Network" series have a break during the "Holiday" season.

However, the break for FlashForward was much longer than usual.
The "official" reason is that the Winter Olympics would have interrupted the series, so they waited until the Games ended before restarting the show.


However, the unofficial reason is that ABC were unhappy about viewing figures and there were rumours that the show would be cancelled. It's not just FlashForward: apparently the remake of "V" is in an even worse state...

Oh dear! Pepsi, if you've got 10 hours to spare you can watch the series on this link for the next five days... It has episodes 1-10 and you've come in at 11,12. As has been said, we're only picking up where the series stopped mid-series last December... so there are actually only a few more episodes before the series finishes...

I've heard that from other people too. Unfortunately, US viewers don't appear to agree with you: the show lost around a third of its audience on the second episode...
