As I predicted the Chancellor is frit. He had the opportunity to put a load of cash on fuel but decided to punish us Boozelims instead. Thus we will continue with the system whereby the crop in the field over the road will be transported to the other end of the country, processed, and then sent back. As a person who can remember local flour mills, local brewries, local shops, and people delivering stuff on bikes, or using horses, it saddens me that so much power is being given to the large supermarkets and their ridiculous transport network. They aren't even cheaper. Local cakes are best or a merringue.

The merringue is locally sourced, and locally sauced with fruit, and natural yoghourt, although strictly speaking I suspect that the pomegranates and strawberries are not as local.
