I asked the lady in the shop and she said everybody say's it should be Mom perhaps it's a Midlands thing. I never thought of that Kaffy. But my Mom would kill me if I spent more than a pound on a card.
 Croc it's not really the anniversary of Jade's death because Mother's Day moves every year so it can fall on a Sunday.

See and being from Kent I've always written mum

And me being from the North East was allways Mam

Cumbria, it's mainly Mam, sometimes Mum, the Card Factory here actually sells them with Mam on which are a tad difficult to find.

And me being from London it's always been muvva!

My mother would kill me, if I called her that!

Is it a Midlands thing to say 'stilled' as in the above article?  words that are stilled used in Birmingham and most parts of the West Midlands

And me being from the North East it was always Mum!  In nearby Middlesbrough it is usually 'our mam'

had to buy 2 mothers day cards no not coz av got 2 mams but ive got me baby boyo mike now n hes got nee money n is to young to buy his own card so had to buy his card n all. skint now man wanted to tek me new bird out tonite aswell

i've just had 20 roses from my ex *daughters dad*  *wonders what he's after*  then again seeing what time it is, he's probably nicked them

mine are upstairs, i've seen the card and  it's the size of a house  i wasn't looking or anything  my roses are lovely  i had to text him and say thank you and everything

I got my cards this morning and the eldest one wrote Mom but the youngest one wrote Mum. I think he is trying to wind me up but he also got chocolate so it's ok
