Then after that we're going to see some friends in the top-right of Enmgland, but before that we're spending one night here, which should be strange: http://www.wensleydaleheifer.c...rooms/chocolate.html
Lovely part of the world, if you've not been before I'd highly recommend a wander around nearby Aysgarth falls
Have a great time deman - I haven't been there but I've been to Loch Lomond which is beautiful and I really want to go to the Lakes. That cottage Gail had in Corrie looked gorgeous

I see your visit to Mark Johnson's stable and raise you a visit to either of the breweries in Masham. (Pronounced Mas-am)

When a friend saw the cottage in Corrie she too wanted to go there to celebrate her wedding Anniversary but when she checked out the price it was too costly. She found this one instead on Lake Coniston, it was still a bit pricey but as it was a special occasion they splashed out. They loved it, good pics of it on the link and set in 4 acres, wouldn't mind going there myself lol. http://www.sykescottages.co.uk...ke-Cottage-2172.html
Thanks YR, looks great but as only two of us I'm sure I could find cheaper!

Oh Deman! You are going to love Portmeirion! It's nuts... in a good way! Kitsch and fakery mixed up with surreality! I spent many a day there in my misspent youth when I used to stay in uni hols with a group of friends, one of who's parents had a cottage in Dolgellau. They used to go into the forests around Snowdonia looking for... erm... truffles? I never inhaled, of course!

I've been there. It's got a cobbled square and olde worlde sweetie shoppes Xochi, your Portmeirion experiences sound interesting!
I doubt the OH would be up for a "truffle" hunt, sadly..
