I've given up potatoes, and anything potato-related (crisps, chips). It's really difficult

absolutely nothing
Lent comes and goes without any involvement from me.
However, this time, I think I may give up abstinence.
Orally swearing, however I still tend to write sweary words frequently.
Pah! The potatoes are calling me..
I have given up diddly....I am already a paragon
and have no idea why that came out so small

Pengy, I feel your pain
Giving up things for Lent is not part of the religion in which I was raised, therefore nothing. And if it was part of my religion, then someone forgot to tell me about it.
Not giving anything up, but I've stopped smoking
I'm still a potato-free zone
I think I've lost a pound or two, as a result.

Religion - again.
I've never given up anything for lent...or made a New Years Resolution come to that.

Religion - again.
I never had religion in the first place - I caused outrage in my primary school by announcing I didn't believe in god.

I've done that a couple of times, including last year. By the end of it I never wanted to see another bottle of J2O again..
I'm living on Lime and Soda and water.
Hello Rev...LTNS
I was heavily into tonic water
OI...I've lost wieight I'll have you know!!!
Only if I turn sideway!
I'm useless at giving up anything for Lent but one of my friends has given up bread and chocolate and she's doing really well. I've no idea HOW she can do those two, especially not bread.
I've given up the effort of not going to the gym for the fourth time in a week - plus not sticking to my quota of wine per week and do have the odd, extra glass (C'mon on folks! I'm a non smoking veggie/low fat eating 51 yr old female) - i have to sin somehow! I'm surely not perfect!
I gave up anything bad for me, however university refuse to accept lent as a reason for not doing work so I've had to take it up once more
