We have a very large Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's within easy driving distance, so I tend to rotate my shopping visits....just for a change of scene.
Sainsbury's is the worst, because they never re-stock the shelves and if you ask if a product is out of stock, you just get that blank stare from a staff member who couldn't give a toss.

In defence of Lidl....their chocolate is nicer than anyone else's and costs less for a bigger bar....sorted!

Did you used to work for Safeway onetoo? My hubby was made redundant by Morrisons ater they took over Safeway.
Sorry peeps I've just seen this. Yes I did Liver. 27 years in admin for Safeway....Morrisons take over, two years with them, and all because they built a big new office down in Bradford and didn't want us they got rid. The thing is they hadn't got a clue how things worked!

I worked in EPOS in Morrisons for 6 years and I loathe them...I loathe the 'Family Owned Supermarket' impression they try to give when infact they are a bunch of money grabbing tossers.... I refuse to step foot in one of their stores, and haven't since I left there over 10 years ago...
Sorry peeps - again. This sounds like I'm having a rant but Devil is completely right, They are a bunch of money grabbing whatsit's!!

Funnily enough they said they didn't need a distribution centre in Kent - they have just built one about 25 miles away from it!! And Waitrose took over the Safeway building last year and now hubby is back in the same place after having 2 jobs in between!
