pleading for my unwanted castoffs, including: handbags,towels,cosmetics,perfumes and underwear...

oh and they have given me this leaflet 'to use less plastic'

'please put items into the plastic bags and leave outside your front door'

'if items do not go into one bag,please put items into your bags and put it nearby'

why would i ever thrust me undercrackers into plastic bags and wait for some one to come and get them?

There is a thriving market on eBay for *ahem* 'well worn' articles of clothing and footwear.

I get these bags at least two or three times a week as quick they come through the letter box Angus and Hamish demolish them, my postman puts my letters through my window

I get these bags regularly, and they go straight in the bin. Most of them are not charities,some say they will make a donation to charity, but generally they are second hand dealers.I take all my unwanted stuff to our local charity shops where I know they will use the profits for what they are about.

I think Hamish and Angus have the right idea Margeurita.

As Sezit mentioned, with these bags very little money actually goes to the charities. It's much better to donate your stuff to the charity shops, if you want the charities to benefit.

I get about 2 a day of these bags.

I said to my husband the other day , how much old stuff do they think I have

The older woman at the front of the green has a bag sitting outside for them almost every day
