I understand what you mean it will achieve nothing, though he will probably get segregated now at a massive cost to the taxpayer. Personally, I'd like the justice system to deal with these people more harshly instead of letting them appeal and get legal aid etc.....the system is too soft and the Human Rights Law plays a huge part in that.

...as I believe that he gave up his Human Rights the day he laid a finger on the Child, and the justice System pussyfoots around these people, I am not in the slightest bit bothered that he's had to feel a fraction of the pain that baby P had to endure.....tough....he';s a grown man who can try and defend himself...Baby P was a child who, for his few short years lived in pain and torment...death is too good for this man....

I've read the full transcript of the court case regarding baby Peter, it's something I will never forget. I am sorry though that someone will be punished for attacking that monster.

I'm with you, it was disgusting what they did to that poor baby, whoever did that to the child father in prison, is in prison for a reason, they are scum, and most of the time from case studies I have read they do it for status, rather than 'justice'.

 I'd have applauded if it had been some one in Baby-P's family that had done it.

I'm with Chicken & Cinds on this one.  An animal wouldn't do that to its young but if this is true 'justice' was doled out by people who are in jail for similar offences.

What it will achieve,he'll be running scared and looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life,,because this is only the first of many attacks.Why should he lanquish in jail feeling smug that one day he'll be free to do what he likes.

Not really the sort of society I want to live in. They've caught him, he'll never be released, and this sort of scratter action isn't going to prevent other innocent and defenceless kids from being attacked by some other weirdo later on.
