No worries, I was on and off the computer anyway and just got back  I've just looked at the picture again and it sure pulls at the heart strings. It's sad but truly lovely at the same time Tequila.

Yes that's right Daniel.........They transferred authority for the coalition from a British Brigade to an American Brigade Combat Team.

Where did you find this, Tequila?  It's from October 2006 as far as I can tell and the headline was different back then,  The stuff about the peace prize (which I guess you've copied from wherever you got it from) seems to have appeared after Barack Obama was given the peace prize last year.  It looks like it has resurfaced as a snub to the award last year and to make a political point in America.  I'm guessing it's doing the rounds in US-military and anti-Democrat circles.

I think you're right Daniel.............I was under the mistaken impression that it was more recent.......November 09.  I received it  via email just before christmas from my brother who, incidentally had served in Iraq with the British army
