ello cosi, remember the  curly  sausages in wimpy?

I was a saturday girl in Bromley Wimpey Bar so I remember the benderburger very well.

We thought that Wimpeys were cool places to hang out when we were teenagers(lol)

think i may have been to one when i was  really young, like about 4. must have been  the forerunners of maccyd's.

my first phone was my mum's old one it was a phillips and metallic blue with big round buttons. it was quite large in comparison to today's phones.

I think, but I'm not sure, that they appeared in the 1960s in our town......my mum would take me there for a treat after the cinema.....now I relise that it was only because she didn't want to cook. I did the same with my daughter with Maccy Ds. There's a couple of services on the M1 that still have Wimpys in them and they were running alongside maccyDs in the eighties and the one in Walton on Thames only closed about eight or nine years ago(lol)

Mr stonks had the flip- brick but I don't remember curly sausages as I dod'nt go to a fast food place until I was about 20....

were they? we called them kickers, you had to have them to be cool, so i was cool for about 4 months, then i realised  i'd rather go back to being  a loser.

They called them that around here because they had thick soles.....I still like Kickers in the winterx

In those days, Wimpy didn't do salad in their burgers.  The biggest quandry was with or without onions.

I was where it was it was at, I went to the Wimpy bar on a Saturday, and I bought a meal and a drink, not just a coffee all you losers that didn't buy a meal I ate my crappy curled sausage with pride, albeit dunked in a lot of lot of sauce. I had a meal, losers, had a coffee Funny how I look on it the other way round now

Bring back the "Brick" mobiles Stuff is getting that small these days- we need magnifying glasses and small thumbs to use them

I had exactly the same ones, along with an identical pair in coral which were suede!!! I still like kickers

I also wore Farah pants for school, they were 'it' at the time back in the 80's...

I had Nature Treks, and I'm now wearing the repro ones that Clarks brought out last year!
