Chicken, I would not dwell too much on the Bipolar similarities. Although we cannot dismiss that possibility (after all, who knows how many people could be wandering around with various undiagnosed disorders?), there are many individual symptoms that are common to a variety of disorders.

I agree with supercal, maybe talking to your mum about how you feel will help you. She could even come to the doctors with you if you are still worried about going, even just to sit in the waiting room with you.

There are loads of possibilities as other have said although im like yourself i google, read the worst one and then worry it might be that.

In the meantime (i doubt you can make doc app today) why not do something that makes you happy today? cinema or bowling anything to take you out for a while and help put your worries to the back of your mind for a few hours.
