Somehow my mum scratched my acer laptop's screen, leaving quite a small but very deep scratch. Anyone know where I can take it to fix it? And how much it will cost? I'd rather have the screen replaced than half fix it so I could still see the scratch.

I've just seen on a site take a very soft eraser and rub the scratch and keep on till it disappears. Or apply vaseline, just to the scratch, and clean off any excess with a soft cloth.
Might be worth trying a few remedies before the expense of replacing the glass.

Thankyou for helping, but none of the quick fixes have worked. Will try to contact acer and see whether I can just get the screen to save replacing the entire LCD unit.

you should be able to find where to get it fixed just by googling, I had to have my screen and LCD fixed on my mac laptop in the summer but I know that company did just screens. Also you can usually just buy a screen and replace it yourself if you are brave.
