Don't start pooly! This stuff is now doing my head in, for the want of a better phrase and I don't even live in the worse affected areas!

I tried to go to the shop this morning, the newsagents, but despite my ÂĢ250 boots I was slip/sliding - the fear I might fall and bang/break my teeth! I went to the shop at the top of the street and was like a dull girl holding on coming down our (deceptive)hill! Hopefully the rain will set in. This stuff belongs on Christmas cards and chocolate boxes - enough's enough !

Rawky! I'm 51 and holding here! Maybe on to dear life in this white stuff! My only real gripe is - why did the snow stay away on Christmas day? I would have embraced it then?! Now?! I have things do, gym to visit etc. ( I did pay ÂĢ8,000 for my teeth to be perfected btw, hence the panic)!

It's like an ice rink out there in Notts today! My path is usually ok... looked ok this morning..... boy was i wrong! Everything has frozen over now and is very dangerous. As for it snowing now, its pretty light where i am and i hope it turns to rain and washes the lot away!

It was bad when I left my flat in Carrington this morning to go to work, sheet ice everywhere Jen, by the way congrats on the pregnancy!
