I cannot comprehend what it must be like to have a kid out on active service.

But I understand not sleeping and the fear and my daughter is only away at school...

She's home tonight...   tonight I will sleep, & when I wake up in the mornng I will remember she's here, and be able to go back to sleep.

Respect Madamski...  you're stronger than me... I just wouldn't be able to stand it xxxx

To be honest Ditty, my eldest son has seen some sights he will never in a million years forget, but when he came home on leave to Romford I was more worried, he'd go to a club and I would wait up all night until he was home. He's now doing his PHD up in Luton, he was Home for 10 days at Christmas, I'm still worried, youngest son 19 goes to college, my heart is in my mouth everyday until I hear the key in the door. I'm just a nutter about my kids. ( Eldest is 29 on 21/01/10 youngest is 19)  I keep hearing " Mum we are not kids"

I get it Essix...

I had chilled about Ickle...  and then last weekend when I had thought she was studying round another boarders house for the weekend I read something on her facebook page that sent my spidersense into overdrive.   & my spidersense proved to be correct.

Good news is, she told me all about this stuff.... and she understood it was cos I love her that I was freakin.

its just not going to get any easier is it?
