I can see Alex going far in this, the more hes pushed around the more sympathy he will get from the public... the same happens every year, he will be on the chopping block every week and will survive. I won't be surprised if he made the final tbh.

I am under the impression that Vinnie does NOT like Alex, as he is constantly mocking him and taking the piss.  Alex is taking it in good humour but it will start to grate soon.  It's annoying me a bit actually.

Im not a fan of Alex but he isn';t as bad as I thought he'd be and he is being picked on (NOT BULLIED) by Vinnie, and I agree with both Brisket and meaty on this one.

Agree.  As I just said on another thread, may be he is threatened because he sees Alex as more of a 'hard man...'  Alex is uglier than him and less successful, so I can't think of any other reason for him to be threatened.

I don't think Vinnie dislikes Alex all that much at all.
He may just be winding him up as he knows he is an easy target to bait to please the public but I think they will end up with a mutual respect and like for each other.

In an interview on BBLB, Terry Christian remarked how Vinnie would probably go mad in there because he enjoys the banter, and all the housemates are being so cautious so far.

I think what we're seeing is Vinnie sparking some banter with Alex, with Alex being well fit for it.  I think if Vinnie seriously disliked Alex, he'd blank him completely, like he does to Katia.

Don't read too much into Vinnie and Alex's banter.  I don't think it is sinister like some people seem to think.

Hi all, well been watching this and i think Alex is a bit too much trying to prove himself i wish he would chill a bit, Vinnie is just bored i think and wants to understand what Alex is about plus he has picked up that Alex isnt really very confident and winding him up. The only irk that Vinnie may have had is Alex's tie with Jordan.  Perhaps he (Vinnie) wasn't keen on the fame by association angle but found Alex to be much nicer than expected.

I do think Alex is trying terribly hard to be liked and accepted.

And I agree with Spider:  Vinnie's the sort to ignore those he doesn't like.

In my opinion Vinnie is one of those low profile bullies - keep making snide remarks (oh, its only a laugh why you getting all uptight?) types - I may be wrong as its early days but I've seen people like that before and what they want is to create an atmosphere where one person is made to look like a bit of an idiot - it makes them feel better.  Don't like the man - name drops all the time and thinks he is someone he most definitely is not

Mmmmmmmmmm not sure..he has earned his stripes by his own efforts and hard work...and he's a bit seccsy imo. I do like a man to, 'be a man' .....ashamed of myself that i find his humour at other people's expense funny, but Hey Ho!
