Anyway, I said as someone who was 'active' at 14 (my choice - so shoot me) I am sick to death of the way the media get stiff over stuff like this and always automatically blame the man. Who's to say the girl didn't lie about her age? Or there were other mitigating circumstances?

He may well have known her age, and sure, he should have done the decent Jeremy Kyle thing and put summink on the end of it (yada yada yada), but in reality, especially back then, how many bothered with it in the heat of the moment? But then again maybe it isn't as plain and simple as people would like it to be.

I am sick of the way shit like this breaks and the media try to make it stick without knowing the full facts of the situation.

*aaaand breathe*

Disclaimer: Just because this is Sisqo (cant be bothered with the accent - Im not that dedicated) is not the reason I am pissed off about this.

to me the scandalous bit is the fact he ignored the kid, refused to give DNA and had to be court ordered to pay maintainence.
That I have no argument with at all. BUT, (I'm off again) - who's to say she didn't set him up? Said she was on the pill and all that gubbins. Yep, a guy should take precautions, doesn't always happen and it's as much his fault as hers that a child resulted from it. But he should have stepped up to the plate and done the decent thing instead of having to be dragged through the courts. I totally agree he's been a right plebb where that's concerned.
