I've bought my mum the Take That Circus Live DVD that came out a couple of weeks ago and I've just found out it's scheduled to be on ITV next Saturday! WTF??? Loads of people will have bought this for a Christmas pressie and now it's completely pointless. I'm really annoyed.

So have I Queen, but they've done it other years too. I've got a good mind to send it back to Play when it comes
That's a bit pants. But still nice for your mum to have nicey DVD though. It's a Wonderful Life has been on telly 147 times but I still like having the DVD

Another reminder that Christmas is too commercialised eh? I've said it for a few years now, and next year I reckon I'm gonna do it!! Everyone gets vouchers or money
It is annoying when that happens. I usually find that films appear on tv a few days after I've bought the DVD. There might be 'extras' on the DVD though.
Awwwh thanks, Pammmmyppaaammmmmuuoooollllyyyaaahh!!
Money or M+S vouchers for me, you are so generous!

Not a problem. You do still live in Veggieville don't you?
Its only on for an hour and a half, so with ads that probably about one hour 15 mins and the concert lasted about two and a half hours so its not the full show
Paaamyypaaaaammuuoolllyaaaah! Every year I have to repeat myself

Ooo, how kind! Can I have John Lewis vouchers please?
I only do pressies for the kids. I do a lovely selction of candles for friends & candles & vouchers for family. Tis easier. Tis eBay easier
Although this year I don't have any vouchers to give out cause I ain't go no family no more

The show on ITV is not the full concert Q.O.T,H.T.
you also get behind the scene footage on the DVD, as well as
an additional DVD of live at Abbey Road , which is brilliant.

Yeah, I know that ITV won't be showing the full thing. Mum was lucky enough to the concert so it will still nbe nice for her to see the extras on the DVD. I just think it's a bit crap putting it on before Christmas when a lot of people would clearly have bought the DVD for presents.

When they put the Comeback tour on TV, a few weeks after the DVD had come out, sales shot up by 25,000 the next weekend, like wise the beautiful world tour after it was repeated soon after the dvd hit the shops I can understand you being annoyed having bought it, only to find it going out on TV before your Mum has opened her pressie, I had read it was going out Christmas day.
