Jeremy Vine just now on Radio 2, phone in about climate change.

Lady phones in and says:

"When I were a kid we never wore any clothes from March to September so explain to me how everyone has pneumonia now wi' this cold"?
Well It's actually December now, traditionally a cold time...and everyone has pneumonia? I didn't get that memo. Don't get me started on the clothes thing.

"And now we 'ave millions of people living 'ere, now don't get me wrong, it's not coz thee live 'ere".
Now my brain has just exploded.

"And thee'yur all flushing their toilets, millions of toilets being flushed now".
Ooookaaay where is this going?

"So what thee need to do is get out there and mek rivers, thee need to mek more rivers".
Whaaaaaaaaaa? Just what? *weeps*

when im driving home from work and late night love is on thats just ACE!!!

they are always pissed, and the guy asks them a question in his smarmy voice and they talk utter pooopppp and try and sound sober. Half the time they forget what point they are trying to get to. Love it, makes you wonder why their partner ran off with their next door neighbor etc

Hello I have found something rather marvellous (Fail rather than HYS) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...le-law.html#comments Scroll down the comments till you get to Gaahl's.
I didn't see that one, though I did find this particularly amusing

I've been listening to heavy metal and watching the videos like this for over 20 years and it has never done me any harm. However, whilst I was growing up my parents used to buy the Mail every day, this has left me damaged beyond repair.

Awww I used to love those late night phone ins when I was a teenager, I used to pee myself laughing at them.  My friend phoned in once to tell her boyfriend she loved him and the next day on our school lunch break he bought her a can of lilt. Awww

Hello there I am Gaahl, the ex-singer from Gorgoroth. I would just like to highlight the downright lie in this article that there is a song called "Stripped Raped And Strangled" on our DVD - this is simply not true, as anyone can check for themselves by looking at the tracklisting online. Of course this is no exception to the rest of the article, which is uniformly a load of rubbish. Nice one guys.

do you mind if I slightly go off the point for a minute.

Dublin was suffering a water shortage last year so it was considered that we should perhaps take water from the Shannon River (over the west).  The country folk were up in arms (Dublin isn't popular with the farmers ) and refused point blank (like it was their river!)  anyhow last month a huge storm hit, the Shannon overflowed and thousands of homes were destroyed

*thinks of posting this in Moonie's 'Coincidence' thread*

I was once listening to a local radio phone-in, when I realised that one of the callers was a woman I used to go to discos with. She had been a right little raver in the past, but here she was on the radio ranting on about how she had turned to God, who had forgiven all her sins, etc. It was really weird.
That's spooky, I went to college with a born again Christian woman (that's how she described herself) and she said she was drunk in a nightclub when God spoke to her and said he had other plans for her life.

There is a lovely chap on now talking sense about allotments, fresh veg and fresh air and exercise. Vine cuts him short to put a Sir Thumbs-Aloft song on
