It's usually friends of my sons Mrs H....they come & go all year round..so I know em all & tbh they wouldn't dare take the pee!.......

Family I see on Christmas Eve...so we don't have to worry bout being on our best behaviour!...

oh right - yes I have that  and encourage it TBH - I  like to know "the gang"
I like to know when the elite of the family are visiting - make sure I have tidied and dusted

do you still find the traditional boxing day sales as good as they used to be with so many sales throughout the year now ?

I have to go to dialysis on Boxing Day, but this year I am going in the morning so will be home by noonish.  We always have gammon for dinner on Boxing Day, so will leave out detailed instructions to hubby on what to do.

Then it's lazy time after dinner, watching TV or DVD's!

We often go to my sisters Boxing day which I really enjoy but ths year she is going to Egypt! Lucky thing! So it's probably going to be a quiet day.

Boxing Day means Horse Racing and Football.

We never do anything major really, just mill around and visit relatives and just relax.

This year though my mum and brother are working and so I'm going to a friend's and he's cooking me and absolutely loads of us a roast dinner and we're going to drink lots and play twister and various board games.

I LOVE the Next 1/2 price sale. It is unreal if you get in there early you can get amazing bargains (and you aren't shy of elbowing braying women out of the way)

Probably visiting relatives as usual.

I bloody love Boxing day, every year on Boxing day we (the family) gather for food, drinks and games at my Mums, I love it!

I love boxing day cos i have my 3 kids their oh my 7 g/kids n my sister n sister in law n their family here for drinks n food n i love it

Well I wonder ???...

For us it's hubby back at work, Boxing Day can be a busy day with people going to the sales and going to see family, me tidying up from the day before, deciding what to make with the left over turkey, whilst watching what ever is on the telly until the football starts at 3pm when I put Soccer Special on and find out how my team is doing.

We have a quiet evening, never go out on Boxing night eating the left over turkey and left over stuff from the day before, watching either what is on the telly or any DVD's we have had for Christmas.  Most years we have some sort of family party, but are putting it off to the middle of the quiet week as we call it this year, so as there is something between Christmas and New Year.

3 weeks today, visiting the in-laws and looking forward to 3 weeks tomorrow - back home!

I am exactly the same - son in uni now but have always had his friends round - and I also like to make sure the house is spotless when rellies come visiting - which is usually boxing day
