I'm not saying I wouldn't undergo certain 'corrective' procedures - teeth etc., if I had the money or her opportunities. However, I do believe Cheryl does, now look like a child in adults clothing, imo. she's far too small - we all know her hair, teeth etc are false - my son reckons the same and he's 27 btw - she's far too thin.Nothing to do with her success to some people. Her grammar/diction however is bad. Imo, she doesn't have natural class or charisma and tbh I don't know why she's on the judging panel.

Computer isn't allowing me to quote 'Crossy'  - but in answer - anyone who deserves to be earning her sort of money - surgeons, doctors, Nurses etc deserve the money she's earning for nothing, while they however, have to  work so many hours with such distress etc - don't start me on 'golfers/footballers etc'.

Doctors/Nurses and the like can't afford to have their diction incorrect, otherwise we'd all be in trouble.

I'm not getting at you - just the way society pays people for their skils/dedication.

With respect, even if she didn't have natural class and charisma, what does that have to do with judging a singing competition?
Fact is she's been through that process, knows what it takes to be successful in the industry, is part of the biggest girl group in the country. Hopefully this will give you a little clue as to why she's on the judging panel.

She might be  - but imo another case of money for nothing. Cheryl singing live? Her cashing in on the programme - there are more talented singing/song writers out there able to judge.

As I normally point out at this point, that's one of the defects of the market economy which we must ameliorate. An amusing piece in the paper the other day surrounded the fact that the gifted footballer Emile Heskey earns the same as Fred the Shred Goodwin.

She's been through the audition process, yes. But for me that's where her relevance as a qualified judge ends, similar to Alesha Dixon on SCD.

If you read up on Danni, she has years of experience, but even so, I dont think she's a qualified judge. Simon and Louis, yes. Pete Waterman knows his stuff and it's a shame he's not involved any more.Sharon O also. This is why I keep banging on about American Idol. It's taken a hell of a lot more seriously over there, they wouldnt even begin to entertain novelty acts like Jedward in the final 10. The judges all hold the relevant experience and knowledge to judge (even Paula Abdul even though she's gone). They look for real talent and artists they can work with to build long lasting careers. In the UK it's all about making a quick buck and using novelty acts with short shelf lives. They struck gold with Leona (and Will Young), but in the 6 odd years they've been doing the shows,  it's pretty piss poor that only 2 artists have actually lasted the distance.

Crunchy dear I appreciate that I have made your forum life complete but I have to tell you you're like an annoying younger cousin who I have to keep giving a slap

Glad to hear that at long last you're not thinking that 38 inches in bra size is 38 inches in width.

And why get the hump with your dad if he thinks that head on a stick is tasty?
